Alexandre Bouchard, known by his artist name Alsonor, was born on September 15, 1976, in Quebec. From the very first pulses of his creative consciousness, he developed an intimate relationship with sound a living, vibratory, almost cosmic substance. A composer and sound designer, he explores the invisible boundaries between astrophysics, metaphysics, and the evolution of being, weaving a body of work where science and mystery intertwine.

For Alsonor, visionary art is not merely an expression it is a passage. An opening toward an amplified perception of reality, where consciousness expands beyond the tangible. Self-taught from a very young age, he developed a sensitive and open listening, nourished by influences from different musical eras. This inner resonance has deepened over time, giving birth to a profoundly personal sonic signature.

A graduate in sound design, Alexandre Bouchard marked a turning point in the year 2000 with its founding of M-pression, a multidisciplinary event presented at Place des Arts in Montreal. This immersive work, merging visual arts and music, received an immediate and vibrant reception. For the occasion, he composed a piece in symbiosis with Alphalinéa, a work by painter Jocelyne Maltais, already establishing the foundations of his interconnected approach between artistic forms.

Thereafter, Alsonor chose a creative retreat, dedicating himself fully to research and studio development. This introspective work led, on September 15, 2009, to the release of four significant albums: Quasar, Nucleon, Transcendence atmospheric explorations of cosmic dimensions as well as RuN, rooted in a more dynamic electronica energy.

For several years, he has pursued a deep, patient, and refined approach, allowing his compositions to evolve like living entities. Each work thus becomes the testimony of an inner journey, a quest for balance between structure and surrender, between matter and consciousness.

Alsonor does not simply compose music: he sculpts spaces, reveals dimensions, and invites a passage. His art is an experience an expansion.
